Cliveden Classic in Association with The National Trust

Welcome to another test of endurance and fitness at Cliveden presented by kind permission of the National Trust. It's a new time of year and an evening start, but we're looking forward to it, as we hope you are too.

Key Information
The event location is the National Trust Cliveden on Cliveden Road, Taplow, SL6 0JA, Buckinghamshire
Parking The main gate will be open (opposite The Feathers Pub) from 1800hrs, and the Marshalls will direct you where to park. It is key that we keep cars moving up the entry road to the Walled Garden Car Park first, after this we will use the Paddock, but only park here when directed by the Marshalls please. The walk to the start is approximately 15 minutes, so please allow enough time.
Race starts at 7.15pm, so please make sure you turn up in good time! The start is on the Service Road, adjacent to the main drive.

Race numbers/timing chip to be picked up on race day at the start/finish line. Your race number must be attached to the front of your running top. Runners must run with the number and chip allocated to them. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, especially in the event of an accident. On the reverse of your race number are details for you to complete for any potential problems during your race. We must emphasise this fact as it is now a requirement of England Athletics through who we obtain our race licence. You are strongly advised to complete this when you pick up your number & chip.

Please come ready to run as we do not have changing facilities available, and there is only a limited bag drop area (please leave your bag in your car if possible).

We are having to impose a cut off time for the first lap of 45 minutes, as it'll be dark by approx. 8.55pm. Therefore if you haven't completed the first lap in that time we will respectfully ask you to not start the second lap.

We will have toilets at the start/finish

NO SPIKES ALLOWED! This is at the request of the National Trust PLEASE car share where possible.

Water will be available at the start/finish, but we would encourage all runners to "go green", and bring their own bottle with them 

The route is different from previous years and avoids the main drive but still takes you up the steps TWICE!
The course will be marked with arrows and tape. Please obey the marshals' instructions. They are there for your convenience and safety, as with any trail run the course has many potential risks.

Should an accident occur, please ensure that the marshals are informed immediately. First Aid First aiders and an ambulance will attend the start/finish area and also at the top of the steps. If you feel unwell, contact a marshal who will arrange help.
